We take immense pride in our property, and our Housekeeping team is essential in maintaining the sparkling standards that our guests expect and deserve.
Role Overview As a Housekeeper, you are responsible for transforming guest rooms into a pristine sanctuary. You will perform routine cleaning duties for stay-over guests and deep cleaning for rooms upon checkout. Your eye for detail ensures that every guest walks into a room that feels fresh, sanitized, and welcoming.
Key Responsibilities
- Room Cleaning: Change bed linens, make beds to hotel standards, vacuum carpets, dust furniture, and sanitize all bathroom surfaces (sinks, toilets, showers, mirrors).
- Restocking: Replenish room amenities (towels, toiletries, coffee/tea supplies) and minibar items, ensuring the presentation is identical in every room.
- Deep Cleaning: Perform deep cleaning tasks as scheduled (e.g., flipping mattresses, cleaning curtains, moving furniture) to maintain the long-term quality of the room.
- Reporting: Inspect rooms for repairs (burned-out bulbs, leaking faucets) or damage and report them to the maintenance team; manage lost-and-found items according to hotel policy.
- Public Areas: Occasionally assist in cleaning corridors, lobbies, and other public areas to support the wider team.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Attention to Detail: The ability to spot and clean even the smallest imperfections.
- Physical Stamina: Must be capable of physical work, including lifting heavy linens, bending, kneeling, and pushing housekeeping carts for the duration of the shift.
- Trustworthiness: High level of integrity and respect for guest privacy and property.
- Time Management: Ability to clean rooms efficiently within the allotted time per room without compromising quality.
- Experience: Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not required; we provide full training on our specific standards.
